Because the OO version you are using is for 32 bit architecture, you must get the 32 bit libraries. If you're using yum you may try: yum install gnome-vfs2-devel.i386 yum install GConf2-devel.i386 The 32 bit version of the libraries should go to /usr/lib I do not know how to manage apt-get or
