I don't know if this is a bug or my not understanding how to use the
OpenOffice.org Start Application event.
The macro I attach to the event starts a dialog that uses a table in my
DBInfo.odb which is located on a shared drive. Quickstart is loaded at
computer startup and shows my To Do list and

Since installing OO 2.3 the normal OO icon in the taskbar refuses to appear at
any time. I think I might have seen threads on this in the past, but I have
never had the problem before, so any remedy hasn't registered with me. I will
be grateful for advice

as indeed they do - at least in 1.1.4.
