I loaded the file with 2.1 and it looks the same as the 2.0.2 pdf. It appears that some parts of the document that have the default style are taking the characteristics of the 'heading 5' style, which is used in various places in the doc. The file looks right when loaded in Word97. tc Michael

I would have to both agree and disagree with Terry on this one. There have been huge improvements in OpenOffice since I first discovered the program around 1.1.4 when I went to Uni and all the machines ran linux. Back then it was a bit of a novelty that anything existed as a free alternative
