I am attempting to setup mail merge on a new computer system that is Vista
based. I have tried with 2.4.0 and currently with 2.4.1 versions of OOo.
The OOo help system instructs me to use File-Templates-Address Book Source
to setup the address book database for a mail merge. When

I tried to register, but I put in the Email address wrong. When I tried to
register again they said the user name is used already. This is the info as
I did it. onit4you and the Email I submitted was,

Try selecting "Already registered".

i use openoffice 2.3 and want to register a odb database without using
the gui.
i would prefer a method like soffice.exe -registerdb database.odb but
also a macro would be greate.
any hints?

notice that on one of the pages, which began registration, it notified me that
