table, like =suma1:a5. One solution is to have Help Tips turned on
(the default) so you see ToolTips, and hover your mouse over the desired

Microsoft Word 2003 documents that have formula's inserted in a table
such as might be used for the sum column in a invoice, are not viewable
or present when viewed with OpenOffice Writer?
I see the table and any text or numbers in cells that do not contain a
Microsoft Formula.
But
Formula in MS Word document are saved in MS Equation 3.0 Object Link
Embedded (OLE). Looks like can be viewed only if MS Equation is installed.
I suggest to safe the file in rich text format (*.rtf) if You want to open
it in other system.
The OLE Object will be converted into bitmap.
