Disconnect from the internet, stop your Antivirus (AV) and
Try the following :
1) Disconnect from the net.
2) Disable your firewall and anti-virus programme(s).
3) Attempt to install from the downloaded file.
Remember to activate your firewall and anti-virus programme(s) before
reconnecting to the net.

As this seems to be a recurrent difficulty, I suggest that the usual
instructions to close all other windows before proceeding with the

I have had trouble installing version 2.0.1 of OpenOffice and
subsequently version 2.0.0. I had already uninstalled version 2.0.0, but
reinstalling it is a nightmare. Just when the installation process
begins to copy files an build components a window pops up with some
