You've to use Manual page breaks and set the next page style to be used. This
is the equivalent of the MS Word section break. Because page settings are
managed by the Page style.

Sure does. This type of functionality however is normally achieved
using the powerful page style functionality offered by OOo (and only
rudimentary in word).
Create a new page style that has the page format numbering set as
you want. Adding a page break and selecting the new page format as the
