I have had the same problem running on XP. It is faster to open the Task Manager and select 'Process' then use the 'End Process' button to stop the soffice.* processes. For some reason the processes do not stop when you exit OpenOffice.org. Hope this helps, some. Rob Clement wrote: I had a
