As far as I know, oVirt 4.4 uses gluster v7.X , so you will eventually have
to upgrade the version.
As I mentioned, I have created my new volume while I was running a higher
version and copied the data to it, which prevented the acl bug hitting me
again.
I can recommend you to:
1.
Follow up, as well as the logged error from supervdsm.log, I see this in dmesg
so it appears that it very briefly does create DMZ0 and the bond0.22 interface,
but rolls everything back.

Hi Dominik,
My apologies for the delay, have been pushed to other projects this week. I
just verified that our CentOS 8.2 and oVirt 4.4.0 installs are fully up to
date, and tried to apply a network configuration adding a tagged VLAN to the
same bridge as ovirtmgmt. Here are the logs:
```
These may have just been edge cases but the second issue seemed to simply
time out while on the "Wait for the host to be up" task. Jobs ran inside
of HostedEngine and the retries expired before it was completed.
I needed to edit line 147, `retries: 120`, to a higher number so the
process would
Yes this is the point of hyperconverged. You only need three hosts to setup
a proper hci cluster. I would recommend ssds for gluster storage. You could
get away with non raid to save money since you can do replica three with
gluster meaning your data is fully replicated across all three hosts.
Thanks.
I've only been considering SSD drives for storage, as that is what I currently
have in the cloud.
I think I've seen some things in the documents about oVirt and gluster
hyperconverged.
Is it possible to run oVirt and Gluster together on the same hardware? So 3
physical hosts would run
I appreciate the follow up!
I had determined that the /tmp mount did not have suitable space. The 1G
allocation didn't seem suitable for the HostedEngine deployment.
I have hit a new fail point, though, that I need to investigate to understand a
little more.
Ritesh, is this error occurring on master? There was a similar issue some
time ago and was fixed. As for the blank compatibility version combo box,
are you talking about the field in edit VM or is it blank in edit cluster?
Michal, I agree, the patch is awaiting your response to clarify what the
