i modified displayName for our LDAP Server in our sogo-config resulting

What about your .GNUStepDefaults ? How does that look ? There are a bunch of
configuration directives in there which have been deprecated, and might be
causing problems, am not sure.

Change WOPort value to 2 and then restart SOGo. And see if it works.
Also, you might want to download the documentation for SOGo for reference,
there are quite a few directives in your .GNUStepDefaults which at least I
don't know about, might be deprecated. :)
