In the default install, it seems like IMAP4 connection pooling (NGImap4DisableIMAP4Pooling YES) is turned off. That leads to warnings like: 2014-10-20 10:41:07.745 sogod[2912] WARNING: IMAP4 connection pooling is disabled! This was evidently turned off by Wolfgang Sourdeau back in April 2011.
