you are right the missing ssl/tls is usually a no go now a days, an
other way is to use 'stunnel' for the comunication between your server
and your service provider.

There is a script to add the column. On debian systems it's
/usr/share/doc/sogo/sql-update-2.1.17_to_2.3.0.sh, but the location
will vary.

When I put more than 2 addresses to To field then outlook merges them into
