So, it seems the web interface does work, the emails were just delayed in being
sent to the test accounts. They come through quickly enough now. So, iOS and
Apple Calendar seem not to work, whereas the web interface does as it should.

I have found that while I can respond correctly to events sent to me on iOS, I
cannot create new ones and successfully invite attendees. They never receive
any invitations from the web interface or Apple Calendar.

So, as an update to this issue, everything works just dandy on iOS, I found
(didn't have an iOS device to test with until today).
