I've migrated a tomcat 5.0 app from one server to another
(using tomcat 5.5), but on the new server the environment
entries list is empty.
Why is that a problem? Filling it in (if it's needed

Sorry, that makes no sense to me. Environment elements are created by
whoever puts together the Context element
/images/LoginBackgroundTile.gif
and a single square tile appears, top-left corner and nothing
else appears. Expected to be redirected to admin tool page
and that did not happen.

contain zip file for TOMCAT 5.0.28 admin tool.
But it does contain Administration Web Application zip file for Tomcat
5.0.23 or 5.030.
Will be ADMIN tool for version 5.0.23 good for version 5.0.28?

Good question. Lack of the admin webapp is one reason we haven't put
6.0 into production.

I have a new installation of linux (SuSe 10 Enterprise Server) running on an
IBM Z9 mainframe.
I installed the Tomcat server (version 5.0.30-27.2) and all seems to work but
the Admin Tool Service drop down window.
When I hover the mouse over the link the link appears
I am using Tomcat 5.5.12 on XP. I am having a bad time trying to get SSL up and
working. Anyway, after days of searching, I have found some threads where
people are using the admin tool or something like this, to install the
certificates, etc. Problems with this install start off at no logs
