Hi Daniel,
there is a JUnit 5 / Arquillian example available [1].
The important thing (as far as I remember my past self 12 months ago)
is, that we need to use a alpha version of arquillian for JUnit 5
support [2], i.e. >= 1.7.0.Alpha5

Hi Patrick,
could you create an issue https://issues.apache.org/ with this finding?
This would help us track it (and it does not get lost in the mailing
list).
Thanks in advance,

Hi,
I forwarded this mail to the dev@ list to start a discussion regarding
"maintained" and EOL versions of TomEE.
I think, that the website is missing information regarding the status
"eol" or "supported / maintained".

I think, that we are currently waiting for the openwebbeans release to have
Java 17 compatibility. Afaik, this ist the only blocker...

Hi Mauro,
I had a quick look at your project. Any reason for choosing TomEE 7 /
EE7? If not absolutly necessary, I would look at TomEE 8 in 2021.
I made some changes and the project is working fine (see my PR in your
project).
The following adjustments are necessary / were made:

I wouldn't call it "certified" ;)

No. It was discussed on the vote for 8.0.8 but should be a subject for
8.0.9 imho.
We have a production system (simple JSF webapp + JAX-RS - nothing
complicated) running with J16 for a few weeks now (before 8.0.8 - it
was a custom 8.0.8-SNAPSHOT build...). It was required to add --

There are some issues regarding 8.0.7
It has a regression in the JAX-RS landscape. Therefore, it is omitted
on the download site.
Relevant discussion can be found on the mailing list:

Hi,
there were some discussions related to HikariCP on the lists a few days
ago [1], [2], and [3]. I would try with [1] and [2]. Hope it helps.

Thanks to all of you for your kind words and for this opportunity!
TomEE has a very welcoming community.
My journey started in 2015 (with TomEE 1.7.x), when my colleague,

Hi all,
I have updated our TomEE instances to 8.0.5 as (Geronimo) Java Mail 1.6
replaced the rather outdated (Geronimo) Java Mail 1.4 in this release.
Up to now, we were using

Hi,
The related JAR file is "mbean-annotation-api-8.0.X.jar" (X = minor
version number) containing the related class, which is indeed a
"provided" dependency of the container.
So this seems very strange to me.
I did a minimal test setup (based on the link of the example), in which
I could repro
a beans.xml with bean-discovery-mode="all".

Hi Francois,
it would be beneficial, if you could provide a little sample project, which can
reproduce the issue.
With this in hands, it will be much easier to dig into this issue.

Hi makkus,
I have opened an jira issue for further investigation:

Could you upload the source code, you used for creating the WAR archive
there?
It could be beneficial, if we are going into debugging this issue.
In addition, I can confirm, that t
