images are not cached. This really slows down loading the pages in the wiki.

And I know mod_jk can also be used for that.
Anything that bears the URL /skins can be statically served.

Btw, there's caching at the property and query levels... for the
hibernate results. That helps a lot the browsing experience.
In the property definition you can state this and, I think, in the
searchDocument method call.
