Hi All,
I wanted to share a response my spouse and I received from Peet's Coffee
and Tea.
We brought a bag of ground coffee. When we were going to perculate some, we
read the directions and I thought it was asking for to much ground coffee
since I know 2 teaspoons are 10g. So I wrote to customer se
Hi Al, and everyone,
I also agree that Martin made good points. I also think that most people do
not want to be bothered with math, however pointing out cans of vegetables
like many groceries come in 500mL cans and figuring out cost per mL or gram
is to the consumer's advantage.

Hi all:
I have watched a few clips of Wanda Sykes "Ima Be Me" videos including the
one on not changing to the metric system. Her routine is someone who you can't
fool. Wanda Sykes is making fun of everyone including herself and getting
the audience to think!

I was thinking about Bills LC44 and HB36 and introducing a similar bill in

other is making SI the official system in California which would reinforce

Hi all!

Hi Paul Trusten , Eugene Mechtly, and all:
A national approach to complete the transition to the SI metric system may
be ideal the Federal government still wishes to keep a voluntry approach.
This leaves the decision to States and industries to decide when they wish

Lessons I have learned so far from “Metrication in Australia”.
I read some of the PDF after downloading “Metrication in Australia” from

I noted one difference to the approach towards Metrication page 6 was the
avoidance of conversion factors in Education but have
