I updated the VMware plugin to 3.1.0 and tried again. Still it doesn't
work, but now I get a different (more detailled) error message. It says:
An error occurred while executing `vmrun`, a utility for controlling

I have tried your Vagrantfile with Vagrant 1.6.5, vagrant-vmware-fusion
3.0.1 and VMware Fusion 6.0.5 on Yosemite. Works fine. Also checked it with
VirtualBox 4.3.16 and worked as well.
Perhaps you can upgrade your vagrant-vmware-fusion plugin. I just found out
that version 3.1.0 has been releas
