None that I am aware of.
Actually, qmailmrtg7 can run as any user with the following
conditions:
1) Must be able to read the multilog files. The default
installations of qmail/multilog have word readable logs

hi, our old mail server is using sendmail.
I've just finished installing qmail+vpopmail+sqwebmail. I think it's working fine,
my problem is how to move my users from the old mail server to the new one so that
they don't have to change their user name and password.

Fetchmail is what you want. All you need is a local smtp server and account

Hi
Im off on holiday pretty soon and I have a mail account with my ISP
which I use for mailing lists, many of which are quite high volume (Some
days 150 messages). Im going away for 10 days and although the ISP has
a 20Mb limit which probably wont be exceeded, they also have a quota

I think it should be noted in the install docs, that the user running mrtg
should have access to the /var/qmail/queue directory, otherwise
qmailmrtg7 -q will not work. I personally running mrtg from cron under
"mrtg" user, that doesn't have access to almost anything. my solution was :
chown qmail
.current_size doesn't appear to account for messages in
courier-imap/sqwebmail folders. Is that correct? If so, this makes the
quota support in vpopmail only work for pop accounts, which is probably all
it was designed for.
Has anyone tried to make vpopmail's calculation of .current_size ac

Yes. Get courier-imap.
Also, please don't cross post. Those of us on multiple mailing lists find
it really annoying.

Since when are inter7 apps not open source certified?
Someone better fix the COPYING file that comes with vpopmail then, you know
that one that has all that worthless information about the GPL

i'm using qmail's pop3d
and no i dont use inetd i use tcpserver

/usr/local/bin/tcpserver 0 110 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup box.nexgen.com \
/bin/checkpassword /var/qmail/bin/qmail-pop3d Maildir
Did you read README.mysql?
There are some things you need to do.
o. Add a mysql user so that vpopmail can talk to mysql.
You will also need to edit vmysql.h to reflect these changes.
o. Use the vconvert program to convert your existing cdb domains to mysql
Read README.mysql in the vpopmail so
./configure --enable-mysql=y --enable-sqllibdir=/usr/local/mysql/lib/mysql -
-enable-sqlincdir=/usr/local/mysql/include/mysql --enable-large-site=y --ena
ble-logging=y --enable-auth-logging=y --enable-roaming-users=y --enable-rela
y-clear-minutes=20
that's my configure line

Well, I wouldn't call this a "shame". From my point of view, especially
catch-all and postmaster accounts should be _working_, which can be best
guaranteed if the server manages these accounts for itself ins

You need to also tell it where the MySQL includes are. Easier to
edit the Makefile than to specify env settings, atleast it is for me.
A double password might be some spurious entries in the
database or a leftover entry in the login cache.
