This is something I want too. The only way I can think of doing it is for
qmail-scanner to read a file everytime it loads with the list of domains
that require scanning if the domain in not there then it will quit.
I would recommend contacting the author or the mailing list for
qmail-scanner as
I have never tried fetchmail with a qmail+vpopmail set up but all fetchmail
does is reinject the mail by connecting to the smtp server. qmail+vpopmail
should be able to handle this

to base64 or mime which is 7 bit. So for every 8 bits you only get 7 bits of

I am rather nervous about patching rock solid qmail with a 3rd party patch.
So I'm interested in what experience people have had with it and if it works
well. Also if it works well with vpopmail which I also depend on.
