Can someone tell me how to restore a backup of vpopmail when using a mysql
database?
I have the whole ~vpopmail directory tarred up and would like to restore it
with all
the passwords in tact to the mysql database. I also have the database
backed up but
if i just restore the files back to
I just set up a new qmail server and I am wondering about how
to set up the pop server.
The previous server I set up was a while ago and all I had to do
is put the line:
env - PATH="/var/qmail/bin:/usr/local/bin" \
tcpserver -H -R 0 pop-3 \
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup
fine. Its just the authvchkpw that seems to
break.
POP logins for virtual domain users and /etc/passwd users works fine.
I am getting this console message:
vsql_getpw: failed select
When logging in to IMAP via IMP.
Any help would be appreciated ! Thanks in advance !!

Anyone know how I can debug this or have any suggestions ?

Hi. Has anyone got IMP to work with VPOPMAIL ? If
so how would I configure this ? IMP seems to want to use the
password file to authenticate. I obviously want it to use
MYSQL for authentication.
any help would be a good thing !
