Greetings-
I have a couple of backup images currently on tape set to expire soon.
I'd like to prevent NetBackup from expiring this media/backup images as
scheduled. I'll need to restore from the tape, and I thought that
preventing the tape/images from expiring would be easier than importing
upon
Suspend wouldn't prevent expiration though it would prevent use of the
tape.
Also you shouldn't change expiration on the tape but rather the image
you're interested in.
To determine images for a specific policy in a given date/time range:
bpimmedia -L -policy policyd -d MM/DD/CCYY
OK, my comment is for WS08, not WS08 R2.
For R2 support, Urs appears to be correct - 6.5.5 as per this technote:

Put in a comment on the Was this document helpful section of the page.
Click no, and tell them (like I just did)
That may be a handy document. Thanks Daniel!
But which of those commands don't work under 6.5+ ?
Cheers

I have been doing some testing with BMR and we are trying to implement it
into our environment. Restoring to the same box works great, however,
when I attempt to mimic a DR type situation and restore to different
hardware, things are much different. Because the MAC address is different

While performing a BMR restore, has anyone seen the error staitng, Unable

as to what this means and seeing if anyone knows the cause or solution to
fix this. Thanks

Hey guys
I have been attempting to restore some data off some older LTO2 tapes but
continue to receive the error below and would like to know if anyone has
encountered this issue. I was able to restore off of some tapes but not others.

I found the script below that pulls the policy and storage device from
Netbackup but it is for Unix and was wondering if anyone knows how to translate
this to Windows?
bppllist -allpolicies | awk `{
if ($1==CLASS) {c=$2;stu=;printf(\n%24s: ,c)}
if ($1==RES || $1==SCHEDRES ){
