We have been disk to disk for over a year now. We send all our data to data
domain and replicate to a data domain using the archive tier. We have some
longer retentions, 3 year, 5 year and 7 year. No tape of VTL is awesome.

For the sites that have gone completely to disk, did you have to make
adjustments to your retention period(s) ? I'm also curious on how you're
handling your archival requirements ...

We backup, but don't archive, with our backup systems. Nearly all
of our backups are retained for 3 months. Due to an event, a particular
backup may be retained
we have 3 customers who are currently in the works for being 100% tapeless.
Each one of them has over 150-200TB of full backups.

Hello,
Who is really doing all disk backups for all their data sets today? I
keep hearing about the demise of tapes. This email is a survey to see if
shops are really doing this.
