Hi,
Does it look like this is the error message? ...
*"jerry is running SunOS version 5.Solaris*
Supported versions are: 5.9, 5.10"
And the warnings about vxfs are just that... warnings.?
I guess the SunOS version shouldn't be "5.Solaris", right?
Maybe check uname -a as well as /etc/r
Thanks. Very helpful!

Hi,
How does Linux "lvm" compare with Veritas VxVM for Linux?
Or pointers to existing comparisons or helpful docs about this?
Thanks,

Hi,
Are the Veritas binaries installed on our v890 (sun4u architecture, Solaris

We use Veritas VxVM, VxFS, and Cluster.

We want to use our current v890's system disks to create a "duplicate"

Hi,
We've used Veritas a lot on Solaris, but trying to find out some about
Veritas for Windows.
Looks like it might be very limited.
No Veritas filesystem for Windows. Curious what the rationale is.
Does Veritas Volume Manager for Windows support space-optimized snapshots?
If not, are there othe

Maybe looking at the Veritas logs while the disk group commands run would
give you a hint...

Hi,
Is MP3 available for Solaris?
I'm also upgrading from Veritas 4.x to 5.x and on Solaris 10.
Veritas Support told me there is no Veritas 5.0MP3 for Solaris available
yet.
Do you know whether that's true? (is MP3 only available for Linux for

Hi,
We've been using Veritas Volume Manager, filesystem, and Cluster for a while.
And we have the FlashSnap license so that we can use the "snapshot" features.
But we haven't used "snapshots" yet.
I think it would be helpful for us to do so.
But I'm a little concerned about using what is to us a

Hi,
I'd like to be able to bring up our Oracle Standby Server in production mode
for testing while real production is still running on the main production
systems.
The VCS Fire Drill feature seems to do just that but it looks like it does not
support Oracle Data Guard.
I'm wondering whether t
