It's known subversion issue. You need to install a patched version
from macports (sudo port install +unicode_patch). This should fix
command-line tools, i.e. svn status should no more report two files

characters. Versions shows the file twice on the Browse view... first
the file as "missing", and after that missing file, the same file with
status "new".
