Tpny,
The way I read the rulse, all us old farts can tie anything we want,
so by definition that is definitely OK.
I dunno, I may tie a size 2 midge! Or a size 24 streamer. Or
If we we going to tie small flies, I will tie my original Tuft Emerger on a sz

I've decided on the Ridley Creek Fuzz Ball. Not sure of the size yet I have
to count hooks. It won't be larger than a size 20 or smaller than a size 24.

Nick, I have an AK Best Third Hand and the logo is "AK'S Fly Tying Tools" in
Green Letter with a fly attached to a fly line.
The vise doesn't look like any in his books or on his video.

Not sure it would be an AK vise as I do have a few of his tools
(Great stuff if you can find it) and the logos are quite different. It
may be an older incarnation of the brand though.

Jack: Great idea. Thanks.. I was reading about those tri focals. man, I
don't see how ppl could get used to them, but my Aunt has the lineless ones

Jeff,
The logo can very well be AK Best. I have never seen one like this. The AK's
vises I have seen are a lot different than the photo. I had ordered one years
ago but they stopped production and I never did get one. He might of had others
with his name on them.
I will see if I still have his

The guy himself is in on 'Andy Renzetti'... but isn't sure. I sat looking at
a few Renzetti vises right now and the rounded shape where the sides turn in

On the Fly Fisherman forum I got the suggestion 'A.K. Best', though with a
questionmark after it, so obvio
I'm guessing that Hans will know. Those letters look like they want to stand
for AK Best, but that could just be a stab in the dark.

A friend dug up this vise from the basement and is curious about the brand.
Anyone seen it before and knows what it is?

When you talk to your eye checker, be sure to tell them that you want
your bifocals set for a computer distance, not a book reading distance.
They can accomodate you. Or you can go to trifocals and get all three
in one.

You don't have to change font size, you can change the resolution on your
