Like you, it came to an end too soon. I had been tying on and off for 20 years
and almost full tine the past 20 years but I have not seen this process done
that way. Don showed me a bit at the Sowbug several years ago but I really did
not have the time to take it in. I was too involved

and Hobblecreek (actually a river) Ut. My favorites are the Provo (natch as

Our club had Mr. Big Name Fly Tyer here a week ago. He was showing
us how to tie flies. He tied one of his with a loose variation of
DonO's rope dubbing method (and did a very poor job of it).
Fortunately, he didn't blame Don for the technique (nor give him
credit either).
