I have too many vices 😉 consisting of a basic Regal which I use mainly for
tying tube flies, intruders and regular steelhead flies. My first vice was
a Crest US made vise which still works but is quite worn, This was followed
by a Renzetti traveler clamp on and my favourite is the Norvise. I also

Jack, I have the Barracuda Jr. and the small one I think it is called the
Sparrow or something like that. It is a small light weight Dyna King Vise. I
went to rotary almost 30 years ago and will not go back to stationery. I even
converted my old Regal to a rotary.Tony

replace them one time.Good people to deal with. I tye 99% of the time on my
Dyna King and use it at shows because they sponsor me.I think
I have had a HMH since I started tying and use it every week for Salmon
flies. It is a small company in Maine with a new owner and I've never had
any problems.
I use the Regal at shows as they sponsor my fly tying classes with 6 vises,
it also is just as nice, easy to use and so far have not had

sz.30 to 4/0. All without changing jaws.
I recently got a Dyna King stationary that I like very much.In my opinion
(which is worth as much as you have paid for it ) you can never have enough
vices.

mostly because of the awkward positioning of the hand when attaching
