You don't need the dubbing kit. All you need to do the very same thing is two wire tooth kitty brushing brushes available in any pet store. Use them like wool cards against each other, wire teeth to wire teeth, with the bits of yarn and sparkle in between, and for about $10.00 you have your dubbing

Look at the Faruk Ekich bobbin. I like it and the Norbobbin, each having advantages. Norbobbin is automatic but you do have to remember to put a clamp on the thread or hang it or the thread sucks in. The Ekich bobbin has the big advantage of accepting spools just as they come from the store, no re
