before I start so that I dont have to resize/distort the source material
just to then export it down at its original size.

ok so I have a mac now and am learning Final Cut Express (FCE). Overall its
similar to how I would be using Premier Elements on the PC, however there is
one big problem with FCE and I'm hoping someone here can offer a solution.
