and crash the Apple event. No sale. But had fun at the Santa Clara
Apple Store instead. Love that Video iPod and remote control iMacs.
And iTunes 6 is great for video.

We've been using the blip.tv feature as a teaching tool to show how
quickly and easily you can vlog.

Well yes I agree with you. It's more about the length overall. I am
going for the 1 mb/minute due to the overall length of each post. I
would like to do shorter stuff too. But the Webzine sessions is a

Youd agree though that companies are moving away from caring about
dialup users?
The 1 video I bought from apple this evening was 20.1mb for a 320x176
clip that lasted 4 minutes 10 seconds. That would have taken around an
hour to download on dialup, it took approx 1 minute for me to get it.

I would but they don't let me set the compression settings and I
don't like the way they compress so far. That will be a definite way
to go once Blip lets us have control over compression settings.

He probably wants higher compression due to the length of his content.
Its fair to say that it does make the compression requirements a
bigger issue for him.
He's only wrong if he is confusing his own needs and requirements with

I agree. I guess Blip.tv's Safari recorder is along those lines. But
it is not compressing nearly enough so far.

I dont think I could be bothered too much to do video comments all the
