To open project (folder) from command line I can use open -a vim .
Still no luck to open several windows with vim-cocoa :-(
I tried to go back to vim-mac but click/select text is sooo slow. I've
tried the alternative rendered but makes no difference.

Yeah I did a search and tried different things including that. The
only thing that caused a considerable improvement (in text selection,
meaning double click to select something) was toggle Vi compatibility.
But that screwed the way the whole app works.

way faster for what I need.
