thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure I probably (stupidly) turned that off. Fortunitly I had another one that I can get into. It didn't see the 36gb drive, and then notice it wouldn't recognise a smaller drive (scsi 2 drive i think), so I tried the SCA 9gb I have, got distracted and hit ctrl-a

I have a G3 WallStreet up for sale. I would to entertain offers for this Laptop It has 192Mb's of ram, but I don't recall the size of HDD, maybe 6gb. It boots and works well Typical marks and scratches caused by normal wear. It curently has OS 9.2 installed. Thank You for looking. Brad McCartn
