Hello!
I'm afraid any option to use IDE drives with the Quadra 700 will need
some kind of adaptor to make it connect with and talk to the SCSI-bus.
I'd say it will be easier to find a SCSI-enclosure + CD-ROM drive than
making an IDE devices work.
A quick Google search finds only the opposite dire
