Can you he no descriptive than this? Which adapters did you buy, what
monitor are you hooking it up to? Can you hear the startup tone? Hard to
diagnose via email what all we have it it doesn't work.

The computer functions and monitor functions, I'm pretty sure it just needs the
dip switches configured for the 15 year old Sony 15" PC monitor. I don't know
the settings.

The switch settings might vary by type of adapter, but here’s a manual for a
popular one which looks like yours:

I bought it all on the cheap last year and actually tried all those settings.
I gave up because I had bigger priorities. I just thought about this again the
other day so sent the question.
