A quick question. What's the difference between an active and a passive SCSI
terminator? It was my understanding that the passive terminator can have
more devices connected to it, whereas the active terminator can't. Is this
correct? I recently read something that leads me to believe that's not

support a product just because their either #1 had to make certain
agreements with microsoft for things like priority listings in the IE ISP
listings, or #2 just dont feel like supporting it because they consider it

Active actually does electrical stuff to the bus. Passive just sits there
and absorbs the signals.
Active terminators are better, usually. And much more expensive...
