SCSI terminators

A quick question. What's the difference between an active and a passive SCSI terminator? It was my understanding that the passive terminator can have more devices connected to it, whereas the active terminator can't. Is this correct? I recently read something that leads me to believe that's not

Interestingmy ISP says that unless you are running Eudora 5+ or running the latest and greatest there is no support for you as older stuff is simply not supported. Now I am on a IIci running 7.5.5, 32M RAM and I use Eudora Light 3.1.3, the last one that will run on an 030. My ISP says I

Unfortunately, that is true of most ISPs, ignorance = we don't support. Call them up and tell them you are running Linux or BSD, and ask for support. You'll probably get cut off. Knowledgable Mac folks are hard to find occupying low level helpdesks.. we are smart enough to hold out for more

One thing I find is that alot of ISPs have a habit of claiming they dont support a product just because their either #1 had to make certain agreements with microsoft for things like priority listings in the IE ISP listings, or #2 just dont feel like supporting it because they consider it too

I just spoke with my ISP on the phone and they said, again, that anything less than Eudora 5+ will have problems UNLESS you decide to forgo Eudora and to use Outlook. I got all the settings figured out and It worked with my last ISP (a whole passel of problems unto itself), but with this one you
