The "melodic tune" is the Sad Mac sound. Video is obviously failing because the IIsi has no video RAM I know of, and it needs main RAM to display a picture. Make sure all the SIMMs are in identical pairs (2 SIMMs just like eachother in slots 1 and 2, and 2 SIMMS just like each other in slots 3
