Can any one recommend an extension or CP for spinning down/spinning up the
HD while running from a RAM disk ? Assume that I have both my system and my
application installed on the RAM disk. HD is unnecessary for long periods
of time and I can't stand the noise, especially since it is unneeded.
AFAIK, no 68k mac can spin down its hard disk. If it turns off the drive it would
break the SCSI Chain and possibly damage the SCSI devices, or at least make them
malfunction.
