Yes, StuffIt (I use StuffIt Classic 1.6) has the capability of splitting a
large file over several floppies.

I've done some looking around in my stuff and I've found a copy of Netscape
3 with bits small enough to fit on floppies that you could copy to the LC
and install. I haven't found Netscape 2 yet, but do you know if NS 3 will
read the mail folders?
