In regards to connecting via IP a IIsi, back when I was trying to
figure out how to get my IIsi to be able to connect to my eMac running
OS X, I installed and tested many configurations and versions of
networking CPs and extensions on the IIsi.
The IIsi had system 7.1, with update 3, OT 1.1.2,

Another option might be some electronics/VoTech school. Sometimes they fix
stuff for, at the most, the cost of any componants needed since the
students get credit towards graduation in exchange for fixing things.

Just for the record - useless as that record my sometimes be - Mail.app
on OSX Jaguar reads this link just fine. So did Mozilla. Doesn't help
much on a vintage machine, but at least you know the issue isn't with
the link, but with the email parsing the information incorrectly.
