Hi everyone, and sorry if this is a waste of time: a) I want to run a CD drive off my old LCIII, b) I have an old drive from a 7100, c) I dont want to put this drive in an external case with an external PS, d) can I rig up some kind of wiring to get the SCSI signal after the internal HD and

Trouble loading OS 7.6.1 onto a IIci.

I was trying to install OS 7.6.1 from an external CDrom, on a IIci with 20Mb RAM and a 500Mb HD. I successfully booted from the CDrom. The install is supposed to instal 7.6 first then do the 7.6.1 update automatically. However the installer freezes at the end of the first install. When I
