internal, and simply drag your existing System Folder from the old
internal to the new (temporarily external) drive?
Or can you get as far as initializing the disk and having it mount on

The drive is SCSI, a 6G Quantum Fireball under the LaCie label and the jumper
settings for SCSI ident do work as advertised. I say it that way because when I
put it in the external chain as 0 it confuses with the internal HD as expected
and
when it is some other ID it is seen OK.

PCs, yes? My advice would be to download and install PC MacLan
(formerly from Miramar, now from Computer Associates which bought
them out), which puts an AppleTalk stack on your PCs. That kills two

Installing the LocalTalk bridge did the trick. The IIf is working perfectly.
How do I share it with PCs that are on the same home network? Also, how can
I get my IIci to see a Lexmark printer that's shared across the home
network?
