Regarding the floppy drive problem: I'd still bet on a funky floppy drive, "new" or not. Your specified symptoms sound mechanical, not electricial/electronic. If you can, try the drive in another machine and see if the problem follows the drive. If it does, it's the drive. If it doesn't, th

Going to GCC's site doesn't give us any printers that have a SCSI interface. USB, TCP/IP, serial, parallel, localtalk, but no SCSI. I suspect that we need a serial connection here. Model name would help as GCC doesn't list by number. Elite 12? Elite 21? Elite XL21? Jim
