My recollection, such as it is..., ( and don't ask me where I read this..) is that 7.5.5 was an update for open transport or some other system addition, and that for some computers, an SE/30 for example, 7.5.3 would be more suitable/stable if open transport was not required. Mike On Wednesd

Hi folks, I recently inherited a Powerbook 500 with PowerPC upgrade card. First I had battery issues with it, and then the System folder got corrupted. I've since done a fresh install of 7.5.3 on it. However, it's now developed a weird bug which definitely wasn't there before installing 7.5.3.
