compose button at the bottom of the screen when I'm in my in box, the
list of mail boxes or any other mail box. It's the last button on the
screen, so it's easy to find by just touching the bottom of the screen.

Is the phone displaying connect to iTunes on the screen? It sounds like your
iPhone got corrupted during the process. Hopefully you have a iCloud or iTunes
back up. Last resort, you will have to get the iPhone in recovery mode and use
the iTunes player on the computer to bring it back to life.
If dark sky alerts to lightning, I've never gotten it to work. I use a free app
called Storm that is very simple. It alerts to precipitation and lightning once
it gets within 10 miles.

I have Leasey Advanced and received no such message hence I did the update. It
does seem that things are a bit different although I didn’t have much time yet
to check it out. Maybe he says not to update because it’s different enough that
the scripts don’t work or only work partially.
