Thanks for the suggestion. I found the Groups app in a search- but, of course, accessibility was not mentioned. Have you also tried creating a group in iCloud.com as the article suggestioned? Since the iCloud control panel is not very friendly, I questioned whether iCloud.com was any better.

If it is direct touch typing, then they either have extraordinary spatial awareness or they have enough vision to see the keys. Direct Touch Typing is the same as typing without VoiceOver. In either case, if Slide To Type is on, things probably behave differently, but who knows. Richard 
