No Sound When Text Sent

Hello, I have an IPhone 8 with IOS 14.6. Since I updated weeks ago, I no longer get a swoosh sound when I send a text. I looked in settings under sounds but there is no separate setting for a sent text. I did double check that my phone is not on mute this time. This is a very minor problem

I just sent a text that I manually wrote with my SE 2020 and had the normal swoosh sound. If you are using Siri to send the text, then there is no sound as I understand it. I always send text messages by hitting the send button even if I use the dictate function to get the text into the message.

The settings under accessibility, Spoken Content, are mostly directed at people who do not use VoiceOver. Speak Selection puts up a button when text is selected so you can have that text spoken. Speak screen allows you to swipe down with two fingers from the top of the screen and have it read;
