I verry rarely touch the remote for my actual tv now,
Everything I do is with the apple tv remote,
The tv turns on and or off with this new remote
And the accessibility is fantastic
Infact the second gen siri remote is great I haven't touched the 1st gen remote
in the time I've had the 2nd gen.
Open the menu at the top left.
Then settings, and make sure the scanning tone is on.
Otherwise, I'm not sure.
The usual, clear out the app switcher and reboot.

I can’t speak to Roku and it’s absolute latest incarnation, but what I do know
about it for my experience is that the voice they use is hideous. I had a Roku

May I suggest that especially with the new remote, Apple TV is wonderful, and
the only part that is sometimes a bit tricky, are the third party apps, like

I know there have been lots of messages on this topic in the past. However,
I didn't really pay attention to them because I wasn't needing the

We currently have a Roku, and are thinking about changing to Apple TV. I
have to admit that I never concerned myself with accessibility, and

Don’t use a browser,
Try using an ftp client.

Carolyn,
I don't know what you mean by one of the older wired Apple Earpods but if you
mean one with a 3.5mm connector, Apple still sells those for $19. I expect you
might be able to find them for less at Amazon but I love buying directly from
Apple since you usually get free shipping. Here's t

As far as typing is concerned, it was my own fault because I set typing to
Standard typing when I was trying to get some emoji’s in a message and then
forgot to set back it to touch-typing. So typing is just fine now, however,

I strongly suspect the problem is with your charging cord. You should be able
to type normally when the charger is not connected if that is the case.
You can try another charger and see if you’re still having charging related
issues.
you should also bring down the battery charge to zero till
I know what you mean, I have trouble with flat keyboards too. However, with my
Apple Bluetooth keyboard, I put braille or lock dots on certain keys, not the
whole thing, and it keeps me oriented.

I agree with you, Wayne, that Apple ear buds are about as good as you can get

I don't think Apple is actively doing anything to "hold the market" as you say.
I doubt anybody at Apple would prevent another company to make a similar earbud

Thanks much but with my sensory problem I tried many BT keyboards and as long

Greetings. A quick update on my situation. I went to the Apple Store
over the weekend and ended up buying a couple of extra lightning
earbuds. AS someone mentioned, they are the best option currently for
the sound and price. I'm kind of a sound/headphone snob, and it

I am quite certain something like that would be available on Amazon, if not it
may just be necessary to use a separate headset for your laptop or other
devices. I prefer a wireless headset for use with my laptop because I also have
a wireless keyboard and usually don't sit in front of my laptop
I have the Logitech K860 which has the dongle and the dongle does work with the
adapter; but that keyboard also has two other bluetooth channels so I can just
use it as a bluetooth keyboard with the iPhone.
The number pad is not used with the iPhone, so it makes for a rather bulky
keyboard.

Hello Richard
Is the keyboarc that you use the standard large USB keyboard just like that for
a pc. This is very important for me because I have a sensory problem and I can
not feel keys on keyboards which have the keys on the same level. As you know
the keys of the standard pc keyboard have,
