I can’t speak to Roku and it’s absolute latest incarnation, but what I do know about it for my experience is that the voice they use is hideous. I had a Roku stick, and it was sluggish. And although I have been using synthetic speech since the DOS days, I found their speech is hard to understand

I strongly suspect the problem is with your charging cord. You should be able to type normally when the charger is not connected if that is the case. You can try another charger and see if you’re still having charging related issues. you should also bring down the battery charge to zero till
