Hi Fazil
Don’t quote me on this but I would suggest using the e sim for your local /
primary provider because that is the one that is going to stay with you longer,
Then when you travel you can purchase / obtain the standard nano sim from a
provider and it’s a lot simpler and quicker to swap
Richard, that was excellent sounding. Thanks for sharing with us.

Yes, it does. The card information is stored in a secure chip on the phone and
NFC is used to communicate with the card terminal, a cellular or WiFi
connection is not required.

I personally think it's probably safer to switch your main provider to eSIM
unless you know for sure the local provider where you are going will have eSIM
vouchers. If so then it is probably just as easy to get the eSIM from the local
provider when you travel. For me when I go to the

Does Apple Pay work if no sim in the phone?

Thanks much, Sieghard.
One more question:
Does it matter whether I am taking E-SIM from my main provider or from a local

only?

And using it in a store you can either first bring the phone close to the
terminal so the Apple Pay screen pops up and you can then look at the phone to

you hold the phone so it's facing your face and this will
OK, I do apologize for that one. But the information that I posted earlier the
rest of it is correct. Because I talk to an Apple representative about this.
Meaning if there an in VNO, they may not support eSIM. So it's best to check
with the carrier at hand first.

Fazil,
The iPhone 13 Mini does not have a home button so fingerprints don't work at
all. The face ID works wonderfully and though I have yet to use Apple Pay at a
store, when I've accessed it at home to purchase an app or something in the App
Store, pressing the side power button twice when

The only iPhones with Touch Id are the iPhone 8/8 Plus and earlier and the

There are rumors that there will be one more iPhone SE possibly in the coming

Hi Joseph,
The below article seems to say differently and since the SE 2020 is basically
an iPhone 11 on the inside I don't see why is shouldn't support eSIM:
2020 iPhone SE is Dual-SIM, Features nano-SIM + eSIM
Which iPhone SE? I assume the SE 2020 supports dual SIM, if it does and if the
foreign provider supports eSIM then the answer would be Yes.

I have not noticed this, if I am on the answer button doing a double tap always

Anyways, a 2-finger double tap will also answer Facetime and WhatsApp calls,

The provider is STC and it is a Saudi Arab provider.
I read on the internet that iPhone SE is a dual SIM phone that includes E-SIM
too.

Hello, FSTC, is a knock off carrier such as virgin mobile in Canada, then
they're more than likely not going to support the eSIM. And secondly, the
iPhone SE 2020 does not support the eSIM.

Not all foreign providers have e-sim capabilities. In theory you can. Ask your
foreign provider if they implemented the e-sim technology on their network.

Or, ask Apple.
