Carolyn, You don't really even have to open or turn on your phone, when the alarm goes off, pick up your phone, either flick up or down, or what I do, is just swipe left to right, and the only options I have is to snooze or stop. If I want to snooze, I double tab on that, or if I want to stop

I don't think it has to do with updates, if you create an alarm and make sure snooze is off for that alarm then as long as you use that same alarm it should be off. If you create a new alarm it's probably going to be on which I believe might be the default and I don't think you can change the

I don't think having the snooze switch on or off really makes a difference, as long as you hit the stop button when a bird goes off. I just adjusted this on my alarm to see if it makes a difference the next time I said it. I know that if you hit the lock button, it will automatically snooze. >

I've got loads of audio books in voice dream reader. It is great. Audio dramas also work very well in VDR as well. I've never used voice dream scanner, or voice dream writer because I've never needed them at this time. It is so nice to be able to use iTunes to share zipped files with voice
